Community pages describe five forms: Normal, Shiny, Metallic, Giant, and Shiny Giant. Official hunter badges confirm that Shiny Score, Metallic Score, Giant Score, and Shiny Giant Score exist. They do not explain how a variant is rolled.
Shiny
A September 8, 2026 shiny guide says not to treat an undated one-in-X figure as the current rate. A community pet page has said 1 in 1,000. Ignore that as a current rate and read the live luck display.
Community shiny score weights are Common 1, Uncommon 3, Rare 5, Epic 10, Legendary 15, Prodigious 20, Ascended 30, and Mythical 40. Shiny damage on the community chart is base damage plus 80 percent.
Official Shiny Hunter badges read directly run through Legendary at 2,500 Shiny Score: 10, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, and 2,500. A September 8, 2026 reading adds 10,000, 100,000, and 500,000. Rank names for those last three were not in the extract.
Grove's community gate is 1,000 Shiny Score. Grotto's is 100.
Metallic
Metallic tiers on community pages are Chrome, Gold, Diamond, Obsidian, and Titanium. The damage chart runs from Common chrome at 150 up to Mythical titanium at 2,000, with many cells in between that this site does not reprint from memory. Giant damage is described as 2x through 60x the strongest Metallic of that rarity, and Shiny Giant as 4x through 200x. The Meadow chart is the one to trust.
Official Metallic Hunter thresholds, from the September 8, 2026 API reading, are 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 300, 600, and 1,000 Metallic Score, Novice through Mythical. The badge text does not say how a Metallic is created.
A February 2026 tutorial says Grove needs 1,000 Shiny Score, the first metallic luck upgrade costs 10 stones, the track runs up to 200 upgrades and 0.002 percent, an early chance discussed in that video is 1 in 10 million, and a later line mentions 20,000 stones for ascended generation. The creator's own goal in that video is about 6 or 7 titaniums, roughly 60 to 70 Metallic Score. Those are that tutorial's figures.
Giant and Shiny Giant
Community giant guides say a Penta-Strike rolls Giant Luck. Success grants one Giant skin only if a Titanium exists for that pet type. Shiny Luck can then roll one Shiny Giant skin. Skins persist through fuse and rebirth the way shinies do. Damage uses the strongest Metallic of that type. Egg Luck does not apply while mining Giant Eggs. Strike luck is described as sequential: double, then triple, then quad, then penta.
A mining tutorial says giant-egg hit percentages rise as lower-rarity Giants are completed, and that skipping lower Giants lowers the later eggs. A 2025 tutorial mentions Amethyst and Sapphire pickaxes and a 1.2 million stone cost for a rare-giant pick. Verify those costs on the machine.
Community Giant Score weights are Common 1, Uncommon 2, Rare 3, Epic 4, Legendary 5, Prodigious 6, Ascended 7, and Mythical 8. Shiny Giant Score uses the same weights.
September 8, 2026 readings list Giant Hunter scores of 1, 5, 20, 50, 150, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500, and 5,000, and Shiny Giant Hunter scores of 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1,000. Display names for those two families were not in the extract.
Collector score is a 2024 tutorial chart
It is not an official badge ladder. The tutorial states:
- 0.3: Pet Score 10,000, described as unlocking the back of the rebirth cave
- 0.4: Shiny Score 50,000
- 0.5: Metallic Score 300, after about 100 metallics, in the mine
- 0.6: Giant Score 250, which is score, not a unique count
- 0.7: discover 1,200 metallic pets. The spoken line sounds like "all 12 100" and is read here as 1,200
- 0.8: 240 unique Giants
Lab tasks that say Reach a Collector Score of 0.3 or 0.4 use the same name. They still are not the official Pet Collector badges.
